Europe closes mostly higher as new data pour in

Most European stock markets were slightly higher on Monday at the end of the trading session with most of the spotlight falling on Eurozone investor confidence, the United Kingdom house prices and German industrial production reports. In business news, the European Commission announced an investigation into the Adobe-Figma $20 billion deal.

The DAX closed flat. The FTSE 100 decreased by 0.13% at the close with Scottish Mortgage Investment Trust, down 2.03%, as the worst performer. The CAC 40 was up 0.06% at the end of trading as Thales advanced 1.19%. The EURO STOXX 50 closed 0.11% higher with Bayer adding 1.45%.

The euro was down 0.10% to $1.10006 and the pound increased by 0.17% to $1.27702 at 5:35 pm CET.
