European markets closed deep in the green on Wednesday as investors digested the latest inflation report from the United States which showed the country's annual inflation rate declined more than expects, falling to 3% in June.
The Euro Stoxx 50 climbed 1.77%. Vonovia, up 4.97%, led the gains on the index.
The DAX jumped 1.47%. The best performer was Zalando, whose stock skyrocketed 10.51%.
The CAC 40 closed 1.57% higher as STMicroelectronics climbed 4.68%.
The FTSE 100 rallied 1.83% with Antofagasta increasing 5.57%.
The euro surged 1.05% against the dollar to sell for 1.11239 at 5:33 pm CET and the pound rose 0.47% compared to the greenback to go for 1.29934 at the same time.
