Equities in Europe traded lower in Thursday's premarket ahead of the Bank of England's (BoE) new monetary policy decision, as well as the reports on unemployment in Britain, producer prices in Germany, and construction output in the Eurozone. Previously, the United States Federal Reserve opted to keep its key interest rate the same.
The DAX declined by 0.27% at 8:01 am CET. At the same time, the FTSE 100 decreased by 0.13%. The CAC 40 dropped by 0.20%. The Euro Stoxx 50 lost 0.23%.
The euro stood flat against the US dollar at 7:58 am CET to sell for $1.08929. Meanwhile, the pound sterling went down by 0.12% against the greenback to change hands for $1.29874.
