Major European stock equities traded mixed during the premarket hours on Wednesday as market participants processed the latest data on the United Kingdom's inflation, which hit the 2% target for the first time in three years. Additionally, the latest data on the Eurozone's construction sector will be released later in the day.
At 8:35 am CET, London's FTSE 100 lost 0.17%. The Euro Stoxx 50 rose 0.14%. Frankfurt's DAX and the CAC 40 were flat.
The euro fell 0.06% against the dollar at 8:36 am CET, selling for $1.07352. A minute later, the pound gained 0.17% compared to the greenback, going for $1.27285.
