Stock equities in Europe were mixed during premarket hours on Thursday in anticipation of economic data showing the state of retail sales across the euro area in October and a report on factory orders in Germany.
Meanwhile, the unemployment rate in Switzerland clocked in at 2.6% in November, unchanged from the month before.
The CAC 40 climbed 0.21%. The Euro Stoxx 50 was flat. The DAX declined 0.11%. The FTSE 100 grew 0.09%.
The euro rose 0.14% against the dollar, changing hands for 1.05268. The pound sterling gained 0.12% versus the greenback, selling for 1.27186.
