Europe mostly up in premarket as data comes in

Major stock indexes in Europe registered mostly gains in the premarket on Monday as investors braced for a slew of new economic releases. On the agenda today are the United Kingdom's house prices, German factory orders, and the euro area investor confidence.

The DAX was flat at 8:03 am CET. At the same time, the Euro Stoxx 50 rose 0.30%, and the FTSE 100 added 0.37%.

The euro traded 0.06% below the dollar at 7:59 am CET, changing hands for 1.09696. Simultaneously, the pound lost 0.12% against the greenback, going for 1.31077.
