Stock markets in Europe were largely above the flatline during Wednesday's premarket hours with data releases taking center stage of today's trading session, with all eyes on reports on the manufacturing and services sectors for the Eurozone, Germany, and Britain.
In addition, the euro area's producer inflation data will be released after the opening bell. The European Union finance ministers are expected to convene a virtual meeting on raising funds for Ukraine later today.
The Euro Stoxx 50 climbed 0.15%. The DAX was flat. The FTSE 100 rose 0.45%. The CAC 40 gained 0.20%. The euro and the pound were flat against the dollar, selling at 1.08777 and 1.27715 respectively at 7:55 am CET.
