Apple's retailer in Russia closes unprofitable shops

Apple's authorized dealer in Russia re:Store announced the suspension of 15 retail stores due to issues with restocking, TASS Russian news agency reported on Tuesday.

According to the statement, the official retailer of Apple Technology in Russia will temporarily close its unprofitable stores to reassign the equipment to the 87 outlets with increased traffic in Moscow and St. Petersburg, which will remain open.

"The activities of these stores have been suspended due to problems in replenishing inventory from the vendor. The company is doing everything possible to resume supplies and to open stores soon," re:Store's press service said.
