Major stock market indexes in Europe opened mostly higher on Monday ahead of the newest report on investor sentiment in the Eurozone. Meanwhile, over the weekend, four additional ships carrying grain departed from Ukraine.
The DAX opened 0.97% or 131 points higher as RWE AG soared by 5.10%. The FTSE 100 grew by 0.27%. The CAC 40 rose by 0.59%.
The euro lost 0.68% to the dollar at 8:59 am CET to sell for $1.01777. At the same time, the pound sterling fell by 0.61% against the greenback to go for $1.20819.
