Major European stock markets opened higher on Monday, as investors set their sights on reports on EU unemployment rates and Sentix investor confidence.
The DAX grew by 0.28% at the opening bell, as Mercedes climbed 1.56%. The FTSE 100 rose by 0.87%. The best performer was BT Group, going up 2.05%.
The CAC 40 stood flat. The Euro Stoxx 50 advanced by 0.29%, with ASML Holding N.V. being the best performer up 2.47%
The euro was 0.27% higher against the dollar, selling for $1.06748 at 8:59 am CET, while the pound sterling increased by 0.39% to go for $1.21415.
