Major stock market indexes in Europe opened mixed on Friday in anticipation of the newest reports on the manufacturing sector in Germany, the Eurozone, and the United Kingdom.
The DAX decreased by 0.07% as Sartorius AG fell by 1.78% at 9:03 am CET. The CAC 40 declined by 0.08%, with Renault SA dropping by 2.24% at 9:03 am CET. On the other hand, the FTSE 100 rose by 0.06% as Melrose Industries PLC gained 2.07% at 9:03 am CET. The Eurostoxx 50 stood flat.
The euro stood flat against the dollar at 8:57 am CET to sell for $1.08470. A minute later, the pound sterling went down by 0.15% against the United States currency to change hands for $1.26539.
