Intuitive Machines Inc.'s shares plunged 25% during Monday's session after the company revealed that its Odysseus lunar lander is lying on its side on the surface of the Moon. Intuitive Machines added on X that the spaceship "continues to communicate with flight controllers in Nova Control from the lunar surface."
The company's shares previously soared following its successful landing on the natural satellite, making the space exploration enterprise the first private company to land on the moon and the first United States moon landing since 1972.
Intuitive Machines shares fell 25.01% to $7.21 at 10:15 am CET.
