Major stock exchanges in Europe traded higher in the premarket on Friday as investor worries about the global economy diminished with the trade situation between the United States and China seemingly calming down. Meanwhile, in data, the United Kingdom's retail sales are on the agenda.
The DAX gained 0.42% at 8:00 am CET. At the same time, the Euro Stoxx 50 rose 0.56%, the CAC 40 added 0.39%, and the FTSE 100 increased 0.27%.
The euro traded 0.53% below the dollar at 7:59 am CET, going for 1.13300. Concurrently, the pound lost 0.48% against the greenback, selling at 1.32773.
