Loud explosions sounded near the port of Chernomorsk in the Odessa region of southern Ukraine as well as the port of Odessa itself, TASS news agency reported, citing witnesses.
People at the scene reportedly described hearing multiple powerful blasts, but local authorities have yet to comment on the incidents.
An air alert has been issued in the region after the apparent shelling.
