The United States Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) announced on Wednesday it is reviewing over 3,000 units of The Boeing Company's model 737 over doubts there could be interferences with the fifth-generation (5G) technologies recently installed around airports during their landings.
The FAA stated the examination is affecting approximately 2,442 airplanes in the US and 8,342 worldwide.
The news comes shortly after Boeing revealed its annual e-commerce parts sales hit a record $2 billion in 2021.
