The United States Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the Harris County Sheriff's Office asked people to avoid an area in north Houston where they are carrying out "law enforcement activity" connected to the New Orleans ramming attack.
"FBI Houston personnel and specialized teams will be on-site for several hours" near the intersection of Hugh Road and Crescent Peak Drive, FBI Houston said in a post on X.
"This activity is related to this morning's New Orleans attack, but due to the ongoing nature of the investigation, no further information can be provided," the FBI added.
