Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha (pictured left) said on Sunday that Russia unleashed "one of the largest" aerial attacks on Ukraine overnight.
"This is war criminal Putin's true response to all those who called and visited him recently. We need peace through strength, not appeasement," the foreign minister underlined in the statement.
At least two people lost their lives, and 11 others were injured across various regions during Russia's assault. Early this morning, multiple explosions were reported in Kiev, marking the first missile strike on Ukraine's capital in nearly three months. Explosions were also reported in Zaporizhzhia, Odesa, Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih, Vinnytsia, Cherkasy, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kropyvnytskyi, Rivne, and the Khmelnytskyi and Volyn oblasts.
