Russia's Federal Security Service (FSB) neutralized a Ukrainian security service agent who was believed to be planning a "terrorist" attack against one of the politicians in the Zaporizhzhia region, the agency told TASS News Agency on Monday.
Namely, the person was identified as Vitaly Dyatlenko, a Russian citizen working for the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU). The Russian security service reported that Dyatlenko intended to plant an "improvised explosive device" under the politician's car, and, upon the attempt of his arrest, he "offered armed resistance" against Russian security personnel and was thus "neutralized."
"There were no casualties among the civilian population or law enforcement officers," the FSB said.
