Facebook down due to 'unexpected error'

Certain Facebook account owners reported on Monday platform access issues which lasted for several hours, as they were continuously kicked out of the Meta Inc. owned social network's website and unable to log back in due to an "unexpected error."

Many users posted about this problem on Twitter, with some of them being totally unable to access their accounts, while the others managed to do so only through this social network's mobile application.

According to the Downdetector site, which collects technical issues reported by the Internet users, the problem arose around 8 am CET in many European countries including France, Italy, Spain and Germany. The United States users did not report to be experiencing this issue.
