Facebook has agreed to settle a class-action lawsuit arising from the Cambridge Analytica scandal, according to a court filing. The scandal was made public in 2018 and accused the social media platform of allowing the consulting firm Cambridge Analytica to collect user data without their consent.

The details of the settlement have not been disclosed. The filing asked the court to pause the lawsuit for 60 days until the parties reach a definitive deal.
