Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas President Lorie Logan said that inflation in the United States is still too high, despite there being some "welcome progress."
Speaking during a Q&A session before the Money Marketeers of New York University, Logan noted that she is not yet convinced inflation is moving towards the central bank's 2% target.
The Fed official also stated that the Fed has "some time" to watch how the economy, as well as markets, are performing before deciding on its future monetary policy.
