FedEx shares plunge over 16%

American company FedEx's shares plunged over 16% in after-hours trading on Thursday following recent news the company is withdrawing its 2022 guidance due to its ''disappointing'' performance.

FedEx will now implement new measures, according to which it will close 90 offices and stop hiring new personnel.

The company's shares went down by 16.14% at 7:01 pm ET.
