United States Senate is looking to hold a key vote on the $1.2 trillion bipartisan infrastructure plan this weekend, Judiciary Committee Chairman Dick Durbin (pictured) revealed.
Durbin noted that it is possible for the vote to take place sometime on Saturday, adding that the lawmakers are currently still in the process of "negotiating what to do with the two 30-hour requirements that follow the cloture votes."
The Democrats are hoping to pass the bill with a simple majority using the reconciliation process in order to bypass the filibuster.
