Finland is set to approve a new €200 million military aid package for Ukraine, marking its 28th such contribution. Pending final approval from the government and president, the package will bring Finland's total aid to €3.3 billion. The latest support will include artillery ammunition, though specific details remain undisclosed for security reasons.
This announcement was made on Thursday during a meeting between Finish Defense Minister Antti Hakkanen (pictured right) and his Ukrainian counterpart Rustem Umerov (pictured left).
Hakkanen emphasized the importance of sustained support, stating, "This aid underscores Finland’s commitment to Ukraine’s defense." In addition, both ministers signed a memorandum of understanding to strengthen defense cooperation between the two nations.
