Fire kills 7 in nightclub in Spain

A nightclub fire in Murcia, Spain resulted in the deaths of at least seven individuals, while four individuals suffered injuries from smoke inhalation, according to local authorities.

The fire erupted during the early hours of Sunday at the Teatre nightclub, prompting a response from emergency services.

Search operations are ongoing, as there are reports of several individuals still unaccounted for and the death toll may potentially increase as rescue efforts continue, the officials noted.
