The Israeli police arrested on Saturday five of the demonstrators who gathered in front of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's home and demanded more effort in trying to release the hostages Hamas is holding captive.

According to Channel 12, the protesters pointed out the conditions in which the hostages are being held, unlike the ones in which the Netanyahu family lives. They also criticized the prime minister's wife Sara for the alleged harassment of witnesses in Netanyahu's corruption case and son Yair for living in Miami and not joining the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) in the ongoing campaign against Hamas.

The police told the channel that those detained were brought in for questioning and held for violating noise restrictions.
