Flight restrictions lifted in Iran

Iran's Civil Aviation Organisation lifted all flight restrictions, shortening the previously announced period of flight cancellations, IRNA reported.

"Due to the removal of operational obstacles, the previously announced flight restrictions have been lifted. Flights have been operating normally since 11:00 p.m. local time," the news agency reported, citing a spokesman of the Civil Aviation Organisation.

Tehran's Mehrabad Airport and Imam Khomeini International Airport have both resumed flights.
