The Ukrainian military reportedly shot down a Russian drone over Kiev overnight, during a night on which air raid alerts sounded for several hours in roughly two-thirds of Ukraine.

The Kiev City Military Administration stated that "an enemy reconnaissance UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) was detected in the airspace of Kyiv" and "destroyed by air defense forces."

At the moment, it is uncertain if the incident resulted in injuries.
