The French Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on Monday that a total of 42 individuals, including French citizens, French residents, and collaborators of the Institut français, along with their family members, were safely evacuated from the Gaza Strip.
"After a request from France, 42 people today left the Gaza Strip through the Rafah border crossing...This brings to more than two hundred the number of people evacuated from Gaza at the request of France," the statement reads.
In addition, the statement stressed the importance of Israel taking necessary actions to safeguard the civilian population in the area and urged for an "end to the fighting."
