G7 finance ministers aiding Ukraine's economy

G7 finance ministers reported on Monday that they are ready to assist the Ukrainian economy, as concerns over escalation grow.

"We are united in our resolve to protect the sovereignty, territorial integrity as well as economic and financial stability of Ukraine", they stated.

G7 finance ministers, in partnership with International Monetary Fund (IMF), continue to provide important financial support to the country.

They added that "any further military aggression by Russia", will be met with collectively imposed economic and financial sanctions.
