Trade ministers of the Group of Seven (G7) stated on Thursday that the group will step up its efforts to prevent Russia from profiting from the invasion of Ukraine, as well as "curtail Russia´s ability to prosecute the war."
The ministers also promised to keep food and agricultural markets open, transparent, and predictable, and called on other nations not to impose "unjustified restrictive trade measures." They reaffirmed their commitment to Ukraine and to supporting its reform and recovery efforts through trade.
