GE Aerospace revealed on Tuesday that its total revenue for the second quarter of fiscal 2024 rose 4% to $9.1 billion.
For the same reported period, the company logged $11.2 billion in total orders, an increase of 18% compared to the first quarter. However, net income decreased by 4% in the three months to June 30 to $1.4 billion, with Earnings per Share (EPS) coming in at $1.20.
"The GE Aerospace team delivered another strong quarter marked by double-digit increases across orders, operating profit, and free cash flow. Given our performance year-to-date and momentum across our businesses we are raising our full-year profit and free cash flow guidance," GE Aerospace Chairman and CEO H. Lawrence Culp, Jr. stated.
The company's shares rose 1.38% in New York premarket trading following the release of the report.
