Vivek Ramaswamy (pictured), a nominee to become the Republican candidate in the 2024 United States election, warned that Washington should be careful with its approach to Ukraine as it is not in its interest to push Russia "further into China's arms," which he described as "the real enemy."
Speaking at the party's debate in Simi Valley, California, Ramaswamy insisted that "the reality is just because [Russian President Vladimir] Putin is an evil dictator, it does not mean that Ukraine is good. This is a country that banned 11 opposition parties."
"We need a reasonable peace plan to end this," the businessman concluded.
