United States House Judiciary Chair Jim Jordan issued a subpoena to Citibank urging the bank to clarify whether it shared information about customer transactions with the country's law enforcement in the days preceding the US Capitol attack, CNBC wrote on Thursday citing the official document obtained by the media.
Namely, the subpoena came after the House judiciary chair's called on American banks including Bank of America, JP Morgan, Wells Fargo, and Citibank to voluntarily provide the information. However, Citibank was the only one not to comply with the request, CNBC reported citing sources.
