Israel's Defense Minister Yoav Gallant on Tuesday held a meeting with United States Secretary of State Antony Blinken and stressed that Washington's support for Israel after the planned attack on Iran is critical.
"Joint US and Israeli stance following our attack on Iran will reinforce regional deterrence and weaken the axis of evil," Gallant told Blinken, according to the Israeli minister office.
Furthermore, Gallant pointed out that Israel will continue striking Hezbollah positions in Lebanon even after the ground operation ends until the militant group's operatives retreat from southern Lebanon and residents of northern Israel can safely return to their homes.
