The death toll in Gaza has risen to 34,097 people, according to the latest figures provided by the Gaza Health Ministry.

These figures reflect the toll of over five months of conflict between Israel and Palestine, which began with Hamas militants initiating attacks on Israel on October 7.

In the past 24 hours alone, the ministry reported 48 Palestinians killed and 79 injured.
