The Gaza Health Ministry reported that the death toll reached 37,834 people, with 86,858 injured in the ongoing conflict between Israel and Palestine.
This number represents the toll of more than five months of hostilities, which began when Hamas militants initiated attacks on Israel on October 7.
Within the past 24 hours, the ministry documented 40 Palestinians killed and 224 injured in the violence.
