Gaza Health Ministry: Death toll up 40 to 37,164

The Hamas-controlled Health Ministry in the Gaza Strip reported on Tuesday that the number of Palestinians killed in the ongoing conflict with Israel has reached 37,164.

According to the ministry's latest estimate, a total of 84,832 individuals have sustained injuries since October 7. Furthermore, Ashraf al-Qudra, the spokesperson for the ministry, stated that within the past 24 hours alone, 40 Palestinians have lost their lives and 120 have been wounded.

Earlier, the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) stated that there is a possibility of war crimes being committed during Israel's recent mission to free four hostages who were being held by Hamas in Nuseirat.
