The number of Palestinians killed since the war in the Gaza Strip broke out reached 48,189, the territory's Health Ministry shared on Sunday in its latest update.

The ministry went on to say that since October 7, 2023, 111,640 individuals have been wounded.

Meanwhile, in the past 24 hours, eight bodies of Palestinians were brought to hospitals in Gaza, despite the ongoing ceasefire.
