Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan (pictured) discussed with Gazprom Chief Alexey Miller the possibility of creating a gas hub in that country, the Gazprom representative said Friday on his Telegram channel.
Miller stated that both parties also talked about the "issues" on "the supply of Russian gas to Turkish consumers." According to earlier press reports, the two sides may agree that Ankara will get a discount of more than 25% on Russian gas imports.
Earlier in October, Turkish Energy and Natural Resources Minister Fatih Donmez confirmed his country had reached an agreement on establishing a gas hub with Russia.
