Chairman of the United States Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark Milley (pictured) stated on Wednesday that the Donbass region is not yet lost while stressing the high cost the war is inflicting on Russian troops.
"Lots of casualties on both sides" with "very, very little" ground gain in the Donbass by Russia during the past 90 days, said General Milley while explaining the Russians are challenged in the front and their rear areas.
At the same time, Milley also mentioned that until today 12 HIMARS had been transferred to Ukraine by the US, and 200 Ukrainians have been trained to operate them. The remarks of Milley come after Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov expressed that the objectives of Moscow's military operations have expanded beyond the Donbass region.
