Mercedes driver George Russell won the 2024 Las Vegas Grand Prix, racing from the 1st position on the starting grid. His team's co-driver Lewis Hamilton finished +7.313 seconds after Russell despite starting in 10th position while Carlos Sainz secured third place with +11.906 seconds behind Russell's time.
Coming in fifth place, current world champion and season leader Max Verstappen of Red Bull Racing finished +16.582 after, winning this year's Formula One world championship for the fourth time, and fourth year in a row. Verstappen joined Alain Prost and Sebastian Vettel on the all-time list with 4 championships to their names.
