German government sells remaining Bitcoin holding

The German government has completed the transfer of its remaining Bitcoin from its wallet, thus selling off its $2.9 billion worth of holdings (50,000 BTC), the Arkham Intel Exchange showed on Friday.

"The German Government just sent 3846.05 BTC ($223.81M) to Flow Traders and 139Po (likely institutional deposit/OTC service). The German Government has 0 BTC ($0.00M) remaining," Arkhan posted on X.

In roughly a month, Germany gradually depleted its holdings in the largest cryptocurrency in the world by transferring it to major crypto exchanges Bitstamp, Coinbase, Kraken and some undisclosed addresses.
