South Korean Military noted on Saturday an unidentified projectile was allegedly launched from Pyongyang toward the Sea of Japan, according to Yonhap News.
Japanese Ministry of Defense confirmed that a possible ballistic missile has been launched from Pyongyang at 2:15 pm local time, calling all the vessels in transit to closely monitor the developments of the situation and to wait for further information. The South Korean army is rushing to collect and analyze data on the attack with the United States military.
The attack comes three days after the last missile launch from the northern Korean peninsula towards the Sea of Japan.
