Producer prices in Germany increased by 0.1% year-on-year in June, the country's statistical office Destatis reported on Thursday. The index was 0.3% down in comparison to the previous month.
Energy prices fell by 5% on a yearly basis and 0.2% from the prior month. Prices of intermediate goods declined 2.7% from June 2022 and by 0.9% from May 2023, while the prices of capital goods increased by 6.3% annually and by 0.2% month-on-month.
Prices of durable consumer goods were 6.7% and 0.1% higher compared to June 2022 and May 2023, respectively. Non-durable consumer goods' prices grew 9.4% year-over-year and 0.1% in comparison to the previous month.
