German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius on Tuesday accused Russian President Vladimir Putin of deliberately stalling while continuing military aggression against Ukraine.
Speaking ahead of a joint meeting of European Union foreign and defense ministers in Brussels, Pistorius assessed that Putin is merely trying to buy time with negotiations. "That is plainly evident," the minister noted, stressing that Russia's behavior on the ground sends "a clear message" and that the Russian leader should be judged by his actions, not his words.
