The German government refuted allegations of suspending licenses for arms sales to Israel, news media DPA reported on Thursday, citing a spokesman for the Economic Ministry.

"There is no ban on arms exports to Israel, and there will be no ban," the source added amidst various reports claiming a change in the German government's stance on supplying arms to Israel.

The report further stated that export volumes have fallen drastically, dropping from €326 million in the previous year to €14.5 million as of August this year. Furthermore, no permits for weapons sales have been issued since March.
