Germany's Defense Ministry announced on Friday the country would provide the first 15 Gepard air-defense tanks to Ukraine in two months following the agreement made by the two countries' defense ministers.
Germany so far refrained from providing Ukraine with military weapons and equipment, however, the government confirmed in late April it would deliver heavy weapons and ammunition to Kiev.
