The German government's spokesperson Steffen Hebestreit urged on Monday his nation's citizens in Lebanon to leave that country amid fears Israel could conduct an operation there against Hezbollah in retaliation to the latter's rocket attack on Golan Heights.
Meanwhile, airline companies such as Air France and Transavia canceled their flights to Beirut.
Previously, Lebanese Foreign Minister Abdallah Bou Habib claimed the tensions are being discussed by the relevant parties, including the United States and France, which are seeking to talk Israel out of further escalations in the region.
