The prices of precious metals continued to rise on Friday, with gold extending its all-time high streak, as traders assessed the ongoing global geopolitical tensions, particularly that in the Middle East, and turned to investing in the aforementioned commodities.
Gold grew by 1.15% at 6:37 am ET to sell for $2,399.74 per ounce, having hit the $2,400 mark moments earlier. A minute later, silver soared by 2.50% to go for $29.16 per ounce. Platinum increased by 1.96%, selling for $1,002.03. Palladium went up by 1.76% at 6:39 am ET, going for $1,045.73.
